Book Review – “The AI-Driven Business” (and What It Means for Delaware LLCs)

AI BOOK REVIEWI recently read a book centered around how artificial intelligence is reshaping business, and honestly, it felt less like a prediction and more like a playbook for what’s already happening right now. The biggest takeaway for me is simple: AI isn’t coming, it’s already here, and small businesses are using it faster than most people realize.

What stood out is how the book explained AI not as some complicated tech thing, but as a tool that lets smaller companies operate like much bigger ones. That hit home for me because when you’re running an LLC, especially in a place like Delaware, you’re usually trying to do more with less. According to recent data, over half of small businesses are already using AI tools, and the majority plan to increase that usage moving forward.

The book also talks about how AI helps automate everyday tasks, like customer service, marketing, and bookkeeping, which frees up time to focus on growth. That lines up perfectly with what I see in real life. If you’re running a Delaware LLC, especially something like real estate or e-commerce, this is where you gain leverage. Instead of hiring right away, you can use AI to scale first.

Another thing that stuck with me is the shift from “growth at all costs” to efficiency. Businesses are now expected to prove ROI on everything, especially AI. That matters if you’re forming a Delaware corporation because investors aren’t just looking for big ideas anymore; they want systems that actually work.

From a Delaware perspective, this trend fits perfectly. Delaware has always been the go-to state for forming LLCs and corporations because of its business-friendly laws. Now, with things like AI regulation frameworks being tested in the state, it’s clear Delaware is trying to stay ahead of the curve.

My biggest takeaway from the book is this: if you’re forming or running a Delaware LLC and you’re not using AI yet, you’re already behind. Not because you’re doing anything wrong, but because the people who are using it are moving faster, operating cheaper, and scaling smarter.

If I had to sum it up in one sentence, AI is becoming the silent partner in modern LLCs. And in Delaware, where businesses are built to grow, that’s a pretty powerful combination.
